GROVE. Photographs by Jane Burton-Taylor
14 November – 01 December
OPENING Wed 14 Nov 6-8pm
In the south of Italy, near Puglia, olive groves stretch in every direction. Some are over 1000 years old (listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Register) with younger groves 200-600 years old (protected by regional law). All tended by hand for over 40 generations, this exceptionally beautiful exhibition reflects on the importance of nurture and care. Jane photographed these groves over a period of 4 years and through every season. There will be some video footage also. A restorative and beautiful collection of photographs – all shot on film and combined as triptychs. Digital prints.
